Patience? REALLY?

I have learned that if you ask God for Patience you must be prepared to have them tested. The phrase patience is a virtue may be true but, it is more so something learned than anything. I do not have the greatest amount of patience and I am willing to learn them and at times...... I ASK for them. Every time I do they get tested and tried until any I had are gone and then some. With God asking for Strength, Grace and Mercy is a huge step towards learning patience. Think about it God has Patience, Grace and Mercy for us even though we as His children must try them ALL OF THE TIME!!! Yet He never loses His Patience with us....He allows us to have our trials look at Job and what he went through. I do not know if I could handle that but, God Knows and He will not give us more than we can handle.  My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.  James 1: 2-6 NKJ
So let go and let God help you to learn and grow and trust.
